In most cases, placing the subject right in the middle of the picture makes the picture look boring and ordinary. Place the subject off-center instead, following the golden mean or the rule of thirds.

 

Crop the image.

 

If the resolution of your image is high enough you can try cropping your image so that the object is off-center.

Take the shot again, following the rule of thirds/golden mean.

 

Divide the image into thirds and place your subject where the lines cross to make it more dynamic. Example:
