The megapixel myth

 

Do more megapixels automatically lead to better pictures? The answer is clearly no. Ken Rockwell explains the megapixel myth here.

Black/white vs. color

 

While basically all digital cameras offer a black and white mode it is recommended to shoot all photos in color mode. You can always convert your image to black and white afterward with a program such as Photoshop, whereas a black and white photo cannot be converted to a color photo.
